RAE / Realtime Analyzer ENA is an advanced sound recorder/analyzer with the latest environmental noise measurement technology that may be used for a wide scope of application in sound system engineering.
The included programs of RAE are Realtime Analyzer (RA), Sound Analyzer (SA), and Environmental noise Analyzer (EA).
The light version of RA is RAL, and full functions of RA and SA are packed in RAD.
RA [2 channels real time analyzer] is a virtual measurement instrument, including signal generator, real time frequency analyzer, and oscilloscope. In addition, data acquisition modules for Impulse response and Running ACF analysis are included.
SA [sound analyzer] performs multidimensional sound analysis by use of the various acoustic parameters. Room acoustics parameters such as RT (reverberation time) and IACC (spaciousness) are calculated from the impulse response. In addition to the conventional FFT analysis, a newly developed ACF / CCF is used for analyzing detailed acoustic qualities and spatial qualities of sound.
EA [ 2 channels environmental noise analyzer]
This program is an outstanding data recorder. Timer starting or automatic starting by the level triggering is available. These features help long- time field measurement of noise. Once the measurement is started, sound is recorded into the database. Time history of SPL and other physical parameters will be analyzed.
All the functions of RAL / Realtime Analyzer Light are included. Peak level meter, signal generator, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, 1/3 octave band, waterfall, and correlation meter.
Other features:
-During an automatic measurement, sound is recorded only when its level exceeds the "Trigger SPL", specified in the configuration window.
-Time history of SPL (dBA, dBC) and acoustic parameters can be displayed for each recording. Averaging time constant and interval can be specified.
-The recorded sound is saved into the database and further analyzed in Sound Analyzer.
-The reverberation time is analyzed quickly and accurately based on the impulse response.
-Sound recorder / player is available. WAV file import / export, waveform editing are supported.
-Recorded sound is analyzed in detail. Time history of SPL, fundamental frequency, pitch strength, angle of incidence, etc.
- 8 out of 10
Limitations:
-During a trial period of 3 days, all functions of RAE can be used without limitation.
RAE - feature-rich and comprehensive software application that provides a powerful Realtime Analyzer (RA), Sound Analyzer (SA), and many more
